The Żabka Group is a comprehensive convenience ecosystem dedicated to simplifying the lives of its users. To achieve this goal, we must now explore strategies to enhance the user experience on mobile devices.
In this project, my role was to conceptualize and develop a groundbreaking vision for a new super application that would revolutionize the existing standards and elevate the Zabka mobile application to one of the most popular applications in Poland. The vision required a bold and innovative approach. Subsequently, I collaborated closely with UI and Motion designers to execute my vision effectively.
Pay your bills conveniently
Just scan paper invoices by taking a photo, which goes straight to the current month’s bill basket. Electronic invoices can be easily shared with the app. If a family member or roommate receives an invoice, they can also share it and add it to the basket. We pay all at once, in installments, or split the cost—whatever is convenient.
Your favorite food on demand
The app enables ordering dietary catering from Maczfit, other providers currently available on dietly.pl, and—something entirely new on the market—from favorite local restaurants. Imagine customizing weekly lunches from dishes we love at our favorite spots and subscribing to such meal sets.
Sounds like the Holy Grail for undernourished (and bored) home office workers (even more so for those in the office).

“Żapps”, as a virtual currency
Let’s leverage the incredible success of Żapps—they have great potential as a tool for building user engagement. In the new app, their role is significantly expanded. Users can collect them by using any of the app’s services, including paying with ŻappkaPay, paying bills in the app, as well as through quizzes, challenges, gifts, or from friends.
Buy now, pay later everything
ŻappkaPay should become a universal online payment method with an installment option, following a Buy-Now-Pay-Later model. It should be available in the super app as well as outside of it.
When app is really Yours!
My virtual avatar adds an emotional aspect to the app—we enjoy nurturing our virtual selves (like in The Sims). For a few Żapps, we can upgrade it, purchase accessories, and unlock special gestures or behaviors.
The avatar is visible not only to us but also to our friends during all the activities we do together.
